The Landlord must be a member of Zermatt Tourismus and of ZAV, and the apartment classified according to the Swiss Tourist Office and ZAV Criteria. Published rates should be adhered to and should be brutto rental rates (including electricity, heating, V.A.T., final cleaning, bedlinen, bath and kitchen towels; excluding local taxes). Rents can be paid in advance.

Arrival notes, including a site plan of the village with the apartments‘ location, should accompany each booking confirmation/contract.

Each guest should be met on arrival, keys delivered and other details(e.g. apartment, final invoice) passed on, including how to contact the landlord if and when neccessary. In addition, the landlord should look in during the stay to ensure that everything is in order.

The landlord should provide information on special events, excursions, cable car/train timetables, and the Touist Office.

The apartment should be clean and aired, beds made, bath and kitchen towels provided, and everything in good working order. The apartment and the letterbox should be labelled with the guests name. The building and its surroundings should be neat and tidy, the entrance lit and cleared of snow.

Emergency Instructions (e.g. Fire etc.) should be in the apartment; candles or a torch, and a battery operated radio, ready in the unlikely event of a power cut.

The landlord has declared himself willing to follow these Guidelines and to answer any questions relating to them.
